The Arts

Salima is an avid arts advocate and administrator. She has offered her talents to the African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County, the Town of Cary, the City of Raleigh Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts. She is also a performing artist. Salima has been afforded the opportunity to share her talents locally and internationally including St. Peter's Basilica and other cathedrals in Italy.

Health and Wellness

Salima is an advocate for investing in one's health and wellness to maintain a balanced life. She promotes self-care practices, addressing mental health chiefly in racial minority communities, and regular exercise especially through dance. Check out her Zumba page to learn more!
